The Waffle Shop
The waffle shop was the first restaurant I went to in Washington .D.C.
Located at 522 10th street. The inside looks like a old fashioned diner, large booths take up most of the space and large hand made menus hang from the walls. The moment you walk in you know you've found something special. The waffle shop serves a mixture of american and chinese food and they do both well!!!! Another great thing about the waffle shop is they serve breakfast all day long!!!! yummy. As well as serving usual breakfasts such as eggs and bacon and omlettes they also have rib- eye steaks, pork chops and salmon cakes. The chinese food served there is very good and I recomend that you try one of the many lo mein noodle dishes if you happen to find yourself there one day...just like i did!!!
